The UK digital release date for Despicable Me 4 has been set by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. The film will be available to buy or rent from 26th August, according to an official press release.
The latest installment now includes two never-before-seen Minion Mini-Movies, “Benny’s Birthday” and “Game Over and Over,” only when you buy or rent from participating retailers including Sky Store, Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV.
The synopsis for the big sequel, the third highest grossing film of 2024, is as follows.
Gru, Lucy and their girls welcome a new member to the family – Gru Jr. – who is intent on tormenting his dad, as a new nemesis shows up and forces the family to go on the run. This latest blockbuster chapter in the biggest global animated franchise in history is packed with nonstop action and filled with Illumination’s signature subversive humor.
